Do it!

After watching the devotional with Elder and Sister Renlund I started thinking about something that someone said to me earlier today.
They said something along the lines of “If it’s a good thing it doesn’t matter; if it’s the Spirit or your own thoughts-- Do it!”
Moving to Utah was a big adjustment and I didn’t do things because I was scared that I would “ruin my image” or “make me look weird.” But after I was told this today I stopped and said to myself, “It doesn’t matter-- if it’s a good thing to do someone will appreciate it!”
Don’t worry about if the prompting is from the Spirit or from yourself, do it! The Lord knows who needs what. The person you are being prompted to smile at, talk to, or open the door for needs you. You might not know it but the Lord knows and He wants to use you as His tool. Always be willing the be the Lord instrument.
